Welcome to Day Two of voting for the Crochet Stitch Bracket! To make sure everyone knows what they are voting for, I am posting images and descriptions of each of the "Superb 16". Today, we are focusing on The Classic category. The four stitches in The Classic category include:
Granny Stitch Instructions: Row 1: Chain (ch) desired number of stitches (sts) divisible by 3 (plus 2), single crochet (sc) across, ch 2, turn Row 2: 3 double crochets (dc) in 1st st, [ch 1, skip (sk) next 2 sts, 3 dc in next st] repeat until there are 3 sts remaining, sk next 2 sts, dc in last st. ch 2, turn. Row 3 and on: [3 dc in ch 1 space (sp), ch 1] repeat until end of row, dc in ch sp Ripple Stitch Instructions: Row 1: Chain (ch) desired number of stitches (sts) divisible by 7 (plus 2), dc in 3rd ch from hook, sk next ch, dc in next 5 sts, 3 dc in next st (shell made), dc in next 6 sts, sk next 2 ch, dc in next 6 sts, shell in next st, dc in next 5 sts, sk next ch, dc in last ch, ch 2, turn Row 2 and on: dc in 1st st, skip next st, dc in next 5 sts, shell in next st, dc in next 6 sts, sk 2 sts, dc in next 6 sts, shell in next st, dc in next 5 sts, sk next st, dc in last st, ch 2, turn Shell Stitch Instructions: Row 1: Chain (ch) desired number of stitches (sts) divisible by 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across, ch 2, turn Row 2: dc in 1st st. sk st, [5 dc in next ch, sk next st, sl st in next st, sk next st] repeat across until there are 2 st remaining, dc in last st, ch 2, turn Row 3 and on: [5 dc in sl st, sl st in 3rd st of shell], repeat across, dc in last dc of shell, ch 2, turn V-Stitch Instructions:
Row 1: Chain (ch) an even number of stitches (sts), sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across, ch 2, turn Row 2: dc in 1st st. sk st, [(dc, ch, dc in next st), sk next st] repeat across until there are 2 st remaining, dc in last st, ch 2, turn Row 3 and on: dc in 1st st, sk st, [dc, ch dc in ch 1 sp] repeat across, dc in last dc, ch 2, turn Now it's time to go vote on your favorite stitch in the @LittleOwlDesigns_ Stories!
